step 1 –prepare a wok or pot (with lid) at least 2 inches larger than the bottom of your steamer. if it is a straight sided pot, you will need a supporting rack. add water, approximately two inches or just enough to touch the bottom of the steamer with supporting rack underneath. Bring water to a boil with lid on.
step 2- arrange an oiled plate or parchment paper inside a steamer. place frozen dim sum in small batch inside the steamer.
step 3- place the bamboo steamer on top of the boiling water in the prepared wok or pot then cover with lid.
step 4- steam the dim sum (from frozen) over medium high heat, until the wrapper is translucent or until centre is hot!! (try using a chopstick or knife and poke in the centre of the dim sum to check temperature)
if it's hot, hot hot! it's cooked!!
step 1- fill a pot with cold water to ½ way full. add dumplings, over med high heat bring to a boil
step 2- once boil, add half a cup of cold water to the pot and bring to a boil again, strain dumplings.(Optional)
step 3- add partial soup mix in a bowl and add hot water to taste. step 4- add dumplings to hot soup. meal is ready!!
add fresh veggies, herbs or green onion for ultimate experience.
step 1 – brush a layer of oil (grapeseed or sunflower works well) on a non stick pan, if you don’t have one then brush a thicker layer of oil.
step 2- place frozen dumplings and add water to ¾ way up the height of the dumpling. turn heat to high and let it boil for 4mins or until all water evaporated.
step 3- turn heat down to medium, add oil around the dumplings check the bottom of the dumplings if it’s crunchy and brown. you have a meal!!!
serve with grandma’s dipping sauce!

step 1 – lined baking pan with tin foil or parchment paper.step 2 – heat oven or air fryer to 375F step 3 – baked or fry for 10+ mins or until cooked
When the centre is hot! it's cooked!
